Barchelettriche was founded by experts in sustainable boating. With years of experience working on projects and collaborations focused on fully electric propulsion for both inland waters (lakes and rivers) and the costal sea. Barchelettriche aims to introduce technological innovation in boating by creating accessible eco-sustainable boats, through electrification of existing boats using the best products available on the market.

Fabio Sola
Fabio Sola: lover of the sea and boats. For years he has decided to transform his passion into a job with the company Navimeteo; a company that provides marine weather forecasts for ports, yachts and cruise ships. He has no doubts that electric boats represent the future of mobility on the water.
Michele Solari
Michele Solari: Started his career with Greenpeace, worked for the WWF and became an environmental consultant. He has been involved in the issues of electric mobility for years and, thanks to his twenty-years experience, is certain that the boating industry will follow the path of the automotive industry.
Our Vision
Electric mobility is revolutionising the automotive world. Today, all the main car manufacturers are focusing on hybrid or fully electric models. We are facing an unstoppable evolutionary process that will completely transform the concept of mobility. It would be naive to think that the emergence of electric mobility in the automotive industry will not also involve the boat and yacht industry and its propulsion systems.
The thermal engines used in boats are largely derived from vehicle engines. As the maritime industry increasingly shifts toward electric propulsion, we will witness a transformation not only in motorisation but also in the fundamental concept of travel.
Electric cars, scooters, bicycles and even buses are already a reality, driving a rising movement that seeks to make electric transportation a mainstream alternative for everyone. This will inevitably involve mobility at sea and on inland waters where large yachts gradually change, firstly towards hybrid engines, and then fully electric ones.
There will be a significant need for small electric recreational boats, as their characteristics and performance are now comparable to traditional internal combustion engines. Furthermore, the ease of use and access will allow everyone to enjoy the pleasure of eco-friendly electric boats.
